👋 Hi, I’m Wes
With over a decade of experience, my work spans user experience/user interface design, wire-framing, rapid prototyping and front-end development, always focused on creating intuitive, user-friendly products that balance functionality and aesthetics.
Throughout my career I have worn many hats, and I’m able to work between both design and development efficiently.
Companies I have contributed to:
- Barclays (ui design, iOS development), 2015 - 2016
- Solera Holdings (ui disign, iOS development), 2016 - 2017
- Fannie Mae (ui design, front-end development), 2017 - 2021
- Heritage Auctions (ui design), 2021
- Hunter Strategy (ux consultant), 2022 - 2024

Frequently asked questions:
What have you been up to since March 2024?
In 2024 my grandfather and the man who help raise me, was diagnosed with Dementia. I decided to leave the corporate world and pivoted to freelance full-time so that I could be easily available for my family when needed.
Aside from assisting my family, I am focused on a passion project that has been in development for a few years (sorry, no spoilers at this time).
Freelance projects can be found here.
What is this site?
Some might call it a portfolio, or a blog. I use it as a place to showcase projects, case studies, and where I sporadically journal about my interests, so that I might reference them later.
Are you available for work?
Always.
Assuming the company interested in my services align with my morals.
What do you like to do for fun?
I’m not keen on objects, and prefer experiences over things. But, I have been collecting vinyl records for about 25 years, and will always dig a crate if I know records are near. It’s my zen.
I also play guitar regularly.
When time allows:
- travel
- spending time with friends
- magic the gathering (in person)
- video games (almost never now days)
Do you make money off product links?
No. I just enjoy these products.
I wouldn’t be opposed if a company wanted to sponsor or provide products, though.
Can I contact you?
Sure. - Unless you are a recruiter.
